Kelvin Seabrooks is a former IBF World Bantamweight Champion, USBA Champion, ESPN Fighter of the Decade for the 1980’s, and Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee (2003). He is a native of Charlotte, growing
up primarily in the North Charlotte and the West Boulevard areas. Seabrooks was inducted into the Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in May 1991.
